Hi, I’m Paul and welcome to The HR Blog! I have created this blog to share content and promote discussion, that will hopefully appeal to those with a common interest in HR.

The aim is to create a friendly and supportive HR community, where we can share views and ideas with content relevant to those at entry through to executive level.

The idea is to include a broad range of content and so welcome guest blogs either on an ad hoc or regular basis. Whether you are experienced in terms of writing content or just getting started, then please get in touch and I will happily add your post onto the blog.

On a personal level, my background in HR stems from the completion of a BA Hons in Industrial Relations and HRM, followed by 15 years as a Specialist HR Recruiter.

I coordinate the HR Recruitment team at The HR Guys.  We believe that the pursuit of ambitious business goals and treating your people with courtesy and respect are not mutually exclusive to each other.

In fact, they are both key to commercial success.

HR has a pivotal role in helping organisations to achieve this and in turn making their communities a better place to live.

We want to work with people that share this vision and help them to hire great people into their HR teams.
